Abstract:

With the advancement of implant therapy, patients, depending on certain criteria, can elect to have all of their teeth removed, bone grafting performed, implant placement and prosthetic delivery in a single appointment with predictable results.  This has been made possible by the use of enhanced radiography combined with upgraded knowledge of methods in making patient recordings this process has become standardized with optimal outcomes. Implant location and positioning are vital for prosthetic success. If implants are located outside the neuromuscular perimeter the final prosthesis will be compromised. This dissertation will address proven factors for the optimal implant prosthetic.
